Complete rebuild 2020 - 2023From 2020 through 2023, this vessel underwent a comprehensive,
stem-to-stern rebuild that modernized every major system and structural
component. The mechanical systems were entirely renewed, featuring a new main
engine, a new generator, and a rebuilt transmission. Danfoss
electric and hydraulic control system powered by a triple-pump configuration
(31+31+25 gallons), alongside a redundant backup power steering system. The vessel's operational capacity is headlined by all new 30-ton IMS
hydraulic RSW system, complemented by stainless steel doors from C&W
Industrial Fabrication. The hold is capable of carrying 60,000 lbs of RSW crab
or iced fish across six dedicated tanks. The plumbing was entirely overhauled
with galvanized bilge suctions, 240v electric fire and bilge pumps, and four
120v sump pumps. Living and utility comforts were similarly upgraded, including
a six-zone hot water furnace, new freshwater systems (8,000L capacity), and
240v pumps for domestic and sanitary use. Structurally, the rebuild included a new main deck forward, new upper
and shelter decks, and a completely replaced wheelhouse and accommodations. The
vessels 21,000L fuel capacity includes new tanks and a fully replaced fuel oil
system with updated hoses and separators. Safety and navigation were
prioritized through an entirely new electrical system and electronics package,
paired with modern life-saving and fire-fighting equipment. From the refinished
winches and A-frame to the new interior outfit and galley, every detail of the
ship was addressed with new wood, fiberglass, and thru-hull fittings to ensure she
is ready fish. |
